Stuffed Green Pepper recipe


Prep Peppers

6 green peppers, caps off and cleaned

5 c. boiling water, salted


2 lb. ground meat

4 tbsp. onion, chopped

2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

2 c. cooked minute rice

2 15 oz cans tomato sauce


1Add peppers to boiling water, cook 5 minutes and drain.

2Brown meat & onion.

3Stir in all other ingredients except 1 can tomato sauce.

4Stuff peppers & put in casserole dish, pour rest of tomato sauce over top.

5Cover and bake 350° for 45 minutes.

6Remove cover and bake another 15 minutes.
