Crust
2 Pie Crusts
Filling
8 - 10 cups Apples, sliced
1/2 - 1 cup Fresh Cranberries (can substitute craisins, but use less)
1 c up Sugar
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp. Flour
3 - 4 tbsp. Butter
Note: All measurements are approximate. I generally just guesstimate when cooking.
1
Toss apples, cranberries, sugar, cinnamon and flour together and pour on top of bottom crust.
2
Add a few pats for butter and top with remaining crust, make a few slits for steam to escape.
3
Bake 425° for 40 to 50 mins.
I will cover the edge of crust with aluminum foil or this cool
Pie Crust Shield my mother bought me a few years back.
