Making the Grinder
3

The key is to hollow out the loaf of bread and fill it sauce, meat and cheese

4

Cut loaf into 4, 6" sandwiches

5

Then take a pairing knife and cut a cap out of one end. Save these cap ends for each sandwich.

6

Using a knife or fork work to hollow out the bread leaving the opposite end in tact. Be careful to leave at least 1/4-1/2" of bread on the interior to provide extra support for the sandwich.

7

Fill each sandwich by layering the marinara, meat and Mozzarella cheese and repeat this process until the sandwich is filled.

8

Use the cap end that has been saved to seal the sandwich.

9

Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
