Print Options:

Steak Chili

 2 tbsp. EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
 3 lbs. steak of your choosing, cubed small (can substitute roast meat)
 Salt/Pepper
 1 16oz bottle of beer, (I recommend our Wisconsin made, Leinenkugel Red)
 2 cups water
 1/2 cup dried chili powder
 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
 1 large onion, finely diced or pureed in food processor
 1 1/2 tsp. ground oregano
 1 tsp. paprika
 2 tsp. kosher salt
 2 tbsp. ground cumin
 1 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional or to taste)
 1 quart fire-roasted tomatoes
 10 oz. tomato puree
Garnish
 sour cream
 cheddar cheese, shredded
 Fritos

Season steak with salt and pepper

Brown steak in Dutch Oven with EVOO

Add remainder of the ingredients

Bring to boil, reduce to simmer for 2 hours
